Hi
I have new UVIS flt images taken in one visit on which I use Astrodrizzle to generate drz image. My reference image for alignment is an older ACS drz image which has been bulit by Multidrizzle. When I run tweakreg to align my new UVIS drz image with the reference image, I get a WARNING saying that "The reference image may not have the full correct WCS solution in the header as created by stwcs.updatewcs. Image alignment may not be taking into account the full distortion solution. " and the output matched objects from Tweakreg are not correct. I know that this warning message is because the reference image has been made by Multidrizzle using an older idc tab distortion file. But I am not sure how to fix this issue. Thanks for your help!
I use Astrodrizzle version 1.1.14 and Tweakreg 1.2.3

Hi, I noticed you had also sent this request to our help desk Ticket #8046, and I replied there asking for more specifics on the exact commands you used. I will copy the resolution to this forum thread once it is solved.
